LG Jordan Oil & Gas: Your First Choice for Fuel in North Carolina since 1924!

Serving the Greater Apex-area for nearly 100 years!

about lg jordan oilOne of the things that sets LG Jordan Oil & Gas apart is that we are a family-owned business.

Now in our fifth generation of service, we wouldn’t still be here if we didn’t exceed your expectations by providing the best service and value. From prompt and reliable deliveries to courteous and friendly customer service, we make you our top priority every day.

Started by LG Jordan in 1924 as a service station selling gasoline, tires, batteries and oil, the operation moved to its current location in the 1950s. It expanded to include gasoline and fuel oil delivery to homes, businesses and farms.

In 1970, Larry Jordan saw that propane was replacing fuel oil for both agriculture and home heating, and he convinced his grandfather to add propane to the business.

Larry’s daughter, Amy Jordan Dean, joined the business in 1993, becoming the fourth generation of the family to work in the company. Continuing the LG Jordan tradition of embracing change in order to better serve their customers, they built a new office building and grew the business to cover a seven-county area serving more than 4,000 residential and commercial customers. We again expanded our services to include natural gas connections, appliance installation and outdoor living products. Just recently, in late 2021, Carl Dean, Amy’s son, joined the company as the fifth generation family employee.

Plus, we are your neighbors. We value being the kind of business where customers can say “Hi” to the employees and owners of their fuel company at Little League games, at the supermarket or at a school board meeting. We plan to keep it that way.
